Abstract:

Cut hole blasting is a piece of key technology in the roadway excavation construction. The layout of the cut hole can influence the quality of the blasting of roadway excavation directly. In light of the poor blasting footage and blasting performance incurred by the previous cut hole blasting in a metal mine, numerical simulation is used to carry out experimental optimization on the cut hole layout, reducing the previous 6 holes to 4 and enlarging the interval between holes, and furthermore, the blasting performance of the 2 hole layouts is compared.Simulation test results show that the 4 cut hole layout has the better performance. The on-site industrial test shows that the 4 cut hole layout can have better performance and at the same time improve drilling efficiency. The study results bear reference and guiding significance to similar roadway excavation blasting constructions.
