A certain refractory gold concentrate containing antimony, with 43.70 g/t gold and 15.60 % antimony, was directly treated using an oxidative roasting-cyanidation leaching process, yielding a gold leaching rate of only82.42 %, and the valuable metal antimony was not effectively recovered. Through experimental research, an optimizedprocess was established comprising flotation of the antimony⁃bearing gold concentrate, alkaline leaching of theflotation tailings, two⁃stage roasting of the antimony leaching residue, cyanidation leaching of the roasted residue, andacid production from flue gas. The flotation yielded an antimony concentrate with 32.00 g/t gold and 41.50 % antimony, achieving recovery rates of 23.98 % for gold and 87.12 % for antimony. The antimony leaching rate from flotationtailings reached 96.17 %. The overall recovery rates of gold and antimony were 97.69 % and 99.51 %, respectively, realizing the efficient comprehensive recovery of valuable metals, including gold and antimony, from refractory goldconcentrate containing antimony.
