Abstract:

When national standard method iodometry is used to determine copper in ores(with higher carbon and sulfur content),the existence of manganese has positive interference on the results. The interference is verified via experiments and the way to eliminate it is settled.Besides, the influence factors are looked into. The results show that concentrated hydrochloric acid can reduce the manganese in the sample and it is added before leaching with optimal dosage at 2.0 mL and heated for 30 s after added effectivel eliminating the interference of manganese. The precision of determination results of the method is 1.67 %,the accuracy is 0.27 %,both good.
