With the acceleration of global industrialization and urbanization, the contradiction between the supplyand demand of metal mineral resources has become increasingly prominent. Traditional mining models face severe chal⁃lenges in terms of resource utilization efficiency and impact on ecological environments. Driven by the strategic goals of"carbon peak and carbon neutrality"and ecological civilization construction, metal deposit mining is undergoing aprofound transformation from extensive practices to green and intelligent operations. Based on current industrydemands for development, the development status of green mining technologies was discussed from 5 dimensions. Thetechnical principles of innovative mining methods were analyzed, and breakthroughs in intelligent equipment wereevaluated. Moreover, applications of clean energy were explored, and the effectiveness of ecological protection technologieswas assessed. Progress in the construction of standard systems was investigated. Through case studies, the advantagesand limitations of these technologies in engineering applications were also revealed. The research indicates thatalthough significant achievements have been made in green mining technologies, bottlenecks remain in economicefficiency, engineering adaptability, and large⁃scale application. In the future, interdisciplinary innovation should bepromoted; intelligent collaborative systems should be established, and the integration of resource recycling and ecologicalrestoration technologies should be deepened to provide new ideas and pathways for the sustainable development of themetal deposit mining industry.
