Abstract:

Jiapigou Gold Field is an important high ore concentration area located in the east part of North China Platform. The paper studied the relation between diorite vein, orthophyre vein and gold ore bodies in Jiapigou Gold Field, and discovered that there are close ties between diorite vein, orthophyre vein and gold ore bodies in terms of forming ages, spatial distribution and material sources. In the case study of Beigou Gold Deposit, diorite frequently occurs around gold ore bodies,or gold ore bodies occur parallel to diorite regularly; gold ore bodies occur at the footwall or hanging walls of orthophyre or within certain distance,it is nearly at the same time that orthophyre vein and gold ore bodies formed.Based on the stress analysis in the field, district and deposit geological characteristics  and the study from predecessors, metallogenic prediction in Beigou Gold District is made that there are potentials prospecting SN concealed ore bodies in the northeast part on 770 m level; according to the discovery of the relation between orthophyre vein and the explored gold ore bodies in the deep part, there are potentials for prospecting larger gold bodies in the deep part. This also provides new prospecting ideas for exploration in Jiapigou Gold Field.
