Combined inco-ferrite process is used for the detoxification of the cyanide tailings from a gold mine,which contains high content of cyanide and heavy metals,and experimental conditions are optimized.The results show that the optimal test parameters are as follows:sodium metabisulfite addition is 15 g/L,copper sulfate catalyst addition is 0.125 g/L,gasliquid ratio is 400∶1,reaction pH value is 7.5-8.0,reaction time is 3 h,ferrous sulfate addition is 15.0 g/L.The concentration of the total cyanide and arsenic in the toxic leach solution from the treated cyanide tailings meets the standards according to HJ 943—2018 Technical Specification for Pollution Control of Cyanide Leaching Residue in Gold Industry.
