Abstract:

Shigangzhai Gold Deposit occurs in the Neoproterozoic Hong’an Group Qijiaoshan Formation fault structure.The NE fault is the main ore-hosting structure that stretches longer in inclination than in striking.The ore body morphology is simple,taking the form of veins and lens and possessing the characteristics of parallel aligning and pinching out,with notable variation in thickness and grade,part of industrial ore bodies exhibiting the trend of expanding thickness and enriching grade;pyrite is the main gold-bearing mineral.Gold occurs in the pyrite in the form of fissure gold.The main ore type is structural alteration rock type gold ore.Silicification,beresitization and pyritization are closely related with gold mineralization.According to the ore body characteristics and district ore-forming conditions,it is deemed that the district bears further prospecting potentials deep inside.Verifications are conducted deep in ore body ⅩⅥ and ⅩⅣ and industrial ore bodies are found in there.
