Abstract:

Abstract:The slope stability is one of the major issues of safe mining operation in open-pit mines. The east open-pit stope of Changshanhao Gold Mine is gradually shifting to deep mining, during which many areas incur land slides of different scale and instability. In light of that, the previous east open-pit boundary is re-delineated and the slope stability of the re-delineated open-pit boundary is analyzed. The paper in detail introduced the comparison and selection of the east open-pit stope boundary, the selection and settings of road parameters, the re-delineation of open-pit boundary and slope stability analysis. The results show that the slope of the optimized open-pit boundary is generally stable and can meet the requirement of safe production.
