Abstract:

National standard testing method for Pb,Zn,As,Bi,Cd and Hg in gold ores is lengthy due to more than one sample dissolution. An analytical method was developed for simultaneous determination of Pb,Zn,As,Bi,Cd and Hg in gold ores by Inductively Coupled Plasma-Atomic Emission Spectroscopy with mixed acids digestion. The in-fluence factors were optimized such as the dosage of mixed acid, the dosage of ammonium bifluoride solution, the digestion temperature, and the digestion time. The recovery rate of standard addition of each element in the established method is 98.0 %-104.0 %.The relative standard deviation (n=11) is 0.60 %-4.76 %,which is consistent with national standard methods. The method is simple in operation and efficient in detection with one-step digestion for simultaneous determination of multiple elements, which could be applied to the detection of large quantities of samples.
