In order to guarantee accurate weight of input ores during the raw materials blending operation,Zhongyuan Gold Smelter renovated the bridge crane weight control system for raw material cabin.The paper introduced the renovation plan of the bridge crane weight control system:the combination of Siemens PLC,weighing module and touch screen independent from electrical control system was used to replace traditional weighing instrument and do software programming and data processing,transforming the simulation signals to quality signals.After renovation,the bridge crane weight measuring system meets the standards and requirements of National Class 3 Scale,and the requirement of production,and simplifies the system structure.The application outcome is good.
