Abstract:

The Kaliguoma Tungsten-Molybdenum Deposit is located at the northern side of middle-south Qilian arc-basin system subordinate to Qin-Qi-Kun orogenic system. There are 12 tungsten ore bodies,2 tungsten-molybdenum ore bodies and 4 molybdenum ore bodies delineated in the study area,18 ore bodies in total. The ore types mainly include hydrothermal scheelite ores, molybdenite ores and a small amount of fluorite vein type and quartz vein type scheelite ores, the surrounding rock alteration relatively develops, and silicification, skarnization, fluoritization are relatively closely related with mineralization. The study shows that the ore body is controlled by the NWtrending fault and its parallel secondary fault. The formation of the scheelite ore body is controlled by the Paleoproterozoic Tuolai Rock Group Gneiss Formation, the Caledonian two-mica monzonitic granite body and the fault structure.According to preliminary analysis, the genetic type of the Kaliguoma Tungsten-Molybdenum Deposit is a high-temperature hydrothermal type.
