Abstract:

The gold grade of a certain gold ore is 1.92 %.The main metal minerals in are pyrite, arsenopyrite and blende, and the main gangue minerals are white mica, quartz, biotite, feldspar, kaolin, etc. The grain of the gold minerals was very fine, most of gold minerals were closely associated with sulfides and some fine gold was closely associated with gangue minerals. If the ores are processed by conventional processes like single flotation or cyanidation, the gold recovery rate will be low. However, the combined process of flotation and cyanidation has achieved good beneficiation index:in closed circuit flotation process, the productivity of gold concentrates is 9.83 %,the gold grade is 12.37 g/t,the gold recovery rate is 63.65 %; the gold recovery rate from cyanidation of flotation tailings is 22.09 % and the overall gold recovery rate is 85.74 %.
