In direct acidic thiourea leaching of a copper-bearing gold concentrate calcine,copper will impose adverse effect due to the high copper content.According to the features of the calcine,experiment research has been carried out on copper removal by acidic leaching and thiourea leaching process.The results show that the adoption of copper-relieving acidic pretreatment and thiourea leaching process,the gold leaching speed is faster and the gold leaching rate is higher;under optimized conditions,after 1 h leaching by thiourea,the gold leaching rate can reach 92.2 % and the silver leaching rate can reach 48.6 %.The data indicate that the thiourea leaching process can meet the goal of rapid and efficient gold recovery from gold concentrate calcine.
