Abstract:

The test investigates the influence of 10 impurity elements contained in the coarse gold on the silver analysis in coarse gold by fire assay gravimetric method. The results show that when the Cu,Fe,Ni,Zn,Pt,Pd,Se,Te,Sb,Bi mass fractions in the test samples are not higher than 20 %,10 %,5 %,5 %,0.2 %,0.5 %,5 %,2 %,2 %,2 %,the accuracy and precision of the analysis results of the method meet the requirement;when impurity element content exceeds the limit value, the applicability of the method can be improved by reducing sample weight and increasing lead foil dosage. The research can be used as technical reference for gold smelting enterprises to do quality control of coarse gold products and trade valuation.
