After many years'exploitation,Baishiling lead-zinc mine is nearly depleted.A series of exploration work have found 2 lead-zinc ore bodies in the north of the periphery of the mining area,effectively mitigating the resource crisis.The study shows that both 2 newly found ore bodies occur in the Tangwu-Gegou secondary faults,and the shape and occurrence of the ore bodies are strictly controlled by the fault.The ore bodies are distributed in NNE direction,trend SE,and the dip angle is 55°-69°.The wall rock alteration of ore bodies develops,and the alteration related to mineralization mainly includes chalcopyritization,baritization,fluoritization,silicification and calcitization.The apparent polarization anomaly in the study area is consistent with the ore body output location,and the depth of the ore body is not closed,which has great prospecting potentials.Based on the exploration data,the prospecting indicators are summarized,and 2 prospecting target areas are predicted in the deep part of the study area,indicating the direction for the nextstep prospecting work in the area.
