Abstract:

Pengjialou Gold Deposit is located in the south of Daqishan Dome, the core of the Dabie Orogenic Belt. The ore body is in vein and lenticular occurrence in the northwest fault structure, and characterized by dilation and narrowing, pinching and reappearance, and gentle wavelet. The industrial type is quartz vein type. The wall rock alteration mainly includes potassic alteration,(smoky)silicification, beresitization, sericitization and chloritization, and is in symmetrical belt distribution.Among them,(smoky)silicification and beresitization are closely related to gold mineralization.According to the geological feature that the gold quartz vein fills in the crack of monzonite granite, the study used LA-ICP-MS U-Pb dating and obtained a monzonite granite diagenetic age of 109.53 Ma±0.91 Ma,which confined the mineralization age of the Pengjialou Gold Deposit. It can be concluded that the gold metallogenesis had close spatial and temporal relationship and genesis link with Yanshanian magmatism.
