Abstract:

Vertical cut blasting is an effective way to realize efficient,low-cost and fast tunneling in medium and small-section roadway. The rationality of its parameters is directly related to the effect of blasting operation.Based on the practical problems existing in vertical cut blasting in the tunneling of Nanwenhe Tungsten Mine, this paper analyzes the blasting mechanism, and optimizes the blasting parameters in combination with theoretical calculation and blasting tests.Field industrial application obtains obvious results:the utilization rate of bore holes are improved to 91.7 % in blasting,single-loop approach averagely increases by 0.35 m,the rock fragmentation is homogeneous and not in big block, the muck pile is concentrated, the drilling and blasting time is shortened and the operation safety is improved. The research can be used as reference in similar mines.
