In view of the fact that the high sulfur content in the tailings from bulk flotation of a polymetallic ore results in excessive sulfur content in magnetite concentrate and high loss rate of gold,experimental study on enhanced desulfurization of tailings from bulk flotation of a polymetallic ore by re-separation was carried out.The results show that under the optimal parameters of desulfurization pre-flotation,the copper concentrate with copper grade 10.570 %,gold grade 56.71 g/t,operation copper recovery rate 25.53 % and operation gold recovery rate 12.88 %; sulfur concentrate with sulfur grade 24.03 %,gold grade 12.37 g/t,operation recovery rate of sulfur 32.70 % operation recovery rate of gold 23.33 %,improving the comprehensive recovery rate of copper and gold.At the same time,the magnetite concentrate from low-intensity magnetic separation has an iron grade 65.06 %,sulfur content only 0.15 %,improving the level of magnetite.
