The gold leaching rate of the carlin-like complex refractory gold ore from a gold mine in Guizhou is low by conventional cyanidation and the preg-robbing material has serious influence on gold recovery.In view of these issues,the paper carried out a new heating and passivation pretreatment(HAP) leaching process.The results show that the new process can greatly enhance the leaching of the complex refractory carlin-like gold ore containing preg-robbing materials.The pilot test can obtain a gold leaching rate of 75 %.The process is simple and green,with few additional equipment and low cost per ton,opening a new path to develop and utilize carlin-like gold resources.
