Abstract:

There are limited mining methods for steeply dipping thin veins and it is hard to control dilution and loss index. In order to properly select mining method,an improved CRITIC-TOPSIS evaluation model is established and applied to the selection of mining methods for a lead-zinc mine. The comprehensive evaluation index system for mining methods is established and the improved CRITIC method is used to determine the objective weight of the indexes.Based on the calculation of comprehensive advantages,it is concluded that the moderately longhole sublevel open stoping mining method is the best choice.Field industrial test shows that with the method, good indexes such as the mining loss rate of 11 % and the ore block production capacity of 310 t/d are obtained. The method effectively improves economic profits and can provide new ideas and technology for similar mines.
