Abstract:

Acoustic emission method is widely used for crustal stress measurement in mines due to small workload and low cost. With increasing depth in Ankou Mining District of Daliuhang Gold Mine, the crustal stress increases. So the measurement of original rock and study of crustal stress field distribution rules can guide to develop deep mines.Based on the acoustic emission loading tests on 60 test pieces, the major stress magnitude and the maximum horizontal major stress direction in 5 measurement spots with different depth are measured, showing that the maximum horizontal major stress increases with increasing depth and the consistency of the maximum horizontal major stress direction in different depth is good;the vertical major stress magnitude is approximately twice its gravity stress. The measurement results provide necessary reference for mining engineering design and construction.
