Abstract:

Systematic study on the process mineralogy is conducted in order to investigate the mineral composition, dissemination features and grain size distribution of a lead-zinc ore.The results show that the lead grade is 1.21 %,zinc grade is 1.09 % in the ore.Lead minerals are mainly galena, zinc minerals are mainly blende, and lead and zinc minerals are oxidized to some extent; galena, blende and pyrite are disseminated in coarser grains and distri-buted unevenly; galena, blende and pyrite are in good monomer dissociation. The result of process mineralogy study can provide basis to choose dressing processes for the ore.
