Abstract:

In a case study of a three-level waste dump of an open-pit mine, harmony degree comprehensive evaluation model and STAB simulation are combined to establish a waste dump stability comprehensive evaluation model with the help of harmony degree comprehensive evaluation model, and the fuzzy analytic hierarchy process is used to assign different weights to different index factors of different importance, where the representative regions of three sections in the waste dump are taken as evaluation objectives, and single index, multiple index and harmony degree matrix of each section are obtained based on harmony degree equation. The safety level of each section in the waste dump is comprehensively evaluated as follows:Section 1-1 normal,Section 2-2 and 3-3 relatively normal. The safety factors are verified by the calculation of STAB.The results are consistent, indicating good evaluation effect, and can be used as reference by similar mines.
