The copper-lead-zinc oxide ore reserve is in large scale in Jiama Mining District,Tibet, but the ores are complex and refractory. In order to investigate the ore property, microscopic observation,X-ray powder diffraction analysis, artificial heavy concentrate analysis, electronic probe analysis and mineral dissociation degree analysis are comprehensively used and thorough study on the process mineralogy is carried out.The results show that the ore is composed of 8 kind of minerals, totaling 34 minerals, including sulfide, oxide and silicate.Among them, silicate content is 72.31 %,carbonate content is 16.71 %,oxide content is 7.40 %;copper, lead and zinc are in complicated intergrowth relation, and galena usually associates with chalcopyrite and blende or is included in blende;copper and zinc minerals are disseminated in fine grains, and the zinc minerals are easily enriched with copper minerals, which is detrimental to the separation of copper, lead and zinc. The research results provide mineralogical basis for the selection of extraction methods of the ores.
