Abstract:

MalutangGold Deposit is located in the south part of Ailaoshan gold metallogenic belt of Sanjiang metallogenic belt in Southwest China. Its metallogenic geological conditions are relatively favorable. In order to achieve a breakthrough in prospecting, the geophysical and geochemical exploration of Malutang Gold Deposit was carried out.The results show that the polarization rate of mineralized and altered diabase is the highest, the resistivity is relatively low, indicating the characteristics of low resistivity and high polarization and obvious electrical difference from the surrounding rock. Therefore, the scope of concealed altered mineralized diabase and sulfide ore body in this area can be delineated by induced polarization method. The abnormal measurement of IP intermediate gradient profile shows that the deep part still has a good prospecting prospect.Au is positively correlated with As and Sb,and the Au-As-Sb anomaly can be used as a prospecting indicator for gold districts. There are good potentials in combined geophysical and geochemical anomalies area and on the contact zone of diabase and surrounding rocks, which can be regarded as the next prospecting direction.
