Abstract:

In order to ensure the safe and efficient mining of hanging wall ore under high and steep slopes, experimental research on pillarless sublevel caving mining method is carried out based on the detailed analysis of the miningtechnical conditions in Shilu Iron Mine. Then, the stope structure parameters, preparation and cutting engineering, miningtechnology, ground pressure management and so on are analyzed in detail. This mining method has high production efficiency and low cost, because the low section height is adopted to reduce the exposed area of surrounding rock, the bottom pillar is omitted to reduce resource loss, and medium-long hole blasting method and scraper are used for ore haulage. The field practice shows that this mining method can efficiently recover the hanging wall ore left on the final slopes in open pit mines, and guarantee the stability of the final slopes in open pit mines and the safety of stope during the mining process. The mining cost is 20.00 yuan/t,the mining loss rate is 21 %,and the ore dilution rate is 14 %.This mining technology can provide a reference for the mining of open pit hanging wall ore under similar occurrence conditions.
