1 223 samples were collected from 27 drilling holes along 7 exploration lines in the NWW ore belt of Yangliweigou Gold Deposit where ore bodies are concentrated,and 15 elements such as Au were analyzed.The statistical parameter characteristics and factor analysis results of the elements show that the ore-forming elements and their indicator elements Au,As,Sb,Hg are obviously enriched,and are the low-temperature element combinations common in the middle and low-temperature hydrothermal deposits.The axial (vertical) zoning sequence of primary superimposed halo in the mining area,established according to the calculation of element zoning index,is Hg-As-Sb (front halo) → Au-W-Zn-Co-Bi (near halo) → Cr-Ni-Sn-Mo-Ag-Pb-Cu (tail halo),and the superposition of strong tail halo and front halo develops,which is consistent with the fact that the ore body pinches out and reappears along the strike and trend.It is predicted that there are blind ore bodies in the deep part by using the ratio of element multiplication and the anomalous section of primary halo.
