Abstract:

Henanzhuang Gold Deposit is located on the North Qinling Tectonic Belt. The geological conditions in the belt are good, indicating prospecting potentials.Ⅱ orebody is one of the major ore bodies in Henanzhuang Gold Deposit. In order to explore prospecting potential deep in the deposit, the paper analyzed the primary halo characteristics of the Ⅱ orebody. The results show that the axial zonation sequence of the primary halo in Ⅱ orebody is Pb-Zn-Au-Mo-Cu-Ag-As-Sb-Bi-W;front halo elements are As,Sb and Ag,near halo elements are Pb,Au,Zn and Cu,tail halo elements are Bi,Mo and W.The elements are distributed in chaos showing evident reverse zonation characteristics, and front and tail halo superposition at the head, middle and tail of the orebody, which indicates there are mineralization potentials deep in the deposit.Drilling verifies that ore bodies are discovered at corresponding spots deep in Ⅱ orebody. It means that it is feasible to discover mineralization through primary halo. The research can provide basis and reference for further prospecting deep in the deposit and peripheral deposits.
