Abstract:

In order to solve the problem that the original mining boundary of open-pit copper-molybdenum mine can not meet the production requirements due to the change of ore body, the geological database of deposit,three-dimensional model of ore body and block grade model are established by 3DMine software. The study takes into account comprehensively the influence of copper and molybdenum price, mineral processing recovery,as well as mining cost and mineral processing cost on the open-pit mining boundary, quickly generates 18 open-pit boundaries, and finally determines the No.17 optimized open-pit boundary was determined to be the optimal open-pit boundary by comparing the economic reasonable stripping ratio.According to the optimization results, the open-pit boundary is designed.Compared with the original open-pit boundary, the optimized open-pit boundary produces 1.916 million tons more copper ores and 38 500 tons more molybdenum ores, and the stripping ratio is reduced from 2.60 m3/m3 to 1.79 m3/m3.
