Abstract:

Residual copper extraction solution can be treated with conventional lime neutralization method. However, the method costs much, and the neutralization gypsum slag is difficult to deal with and challenging to manage when stockpiled.According to the properties of the residual copper extraction solution obtained from the roasting, acid leaching and extraction of a gold concentrate containing copper and zinc, experimental study on the gradient comprehensive recovery is conducted. The results show that the process that gold and silver are recovered with iron powder replacement for the first grade, copper is recovered with calcium hydroxide neutralization and sodium sulfide precipitation and enrichment for the second grade, and zinc is recovered with precipitation and enrichment for the third grade, can lead to gold recovery rate 87.50 %,silver recovery rate 80.00 %,copper recovery rate 91.26 % and zinc recovery rate 98.70 %,achieving the gradient comprehensive recovery of valuable metals from residual copper extraction solution.
