Abstract:

The mineral composition of the flotation tailings from a gold mine in Gansu is complicated and gold is mainly encased in pyrite, arsenopyrite, limonite and gangue minerals in the form of microfine grain gold.According to the property of the flotation tailings, the paper compares bromination leaching method, lime sulphur leaching method, thiosulfate leaching method, thiourea leaching method and new type environment-friendly gold leaching reagent ZJ-1 leaching method and investigates the leaching conditions for new type environment-friendly gold leaching reagent ZJ-1.The results show that compared to other leaching method, the new type environment-friendly gold leaching reagent ZJ-1 leaching method has the best gold leaching index;under optimal process conditions, the gold leaching rate of new type environment-friendly gold leaching reagent ZJ-1 is 70.81 %,close to that of cyanidation gold leaching, and the reagent consumption is close to sodium cyanide. The reagent has potential to replace sodium cyanide in industrial application and provides technical support for tailings utilization as resources and green mine construction.
