Abstract:

Jiangjiachong Gold District is located in the eastern Hunan gold-lead-zinc polymetallic metallogenic zone, which sits in the middle part of the Hengdong-Liuyang new Cathaysian uplift belt. The gold metallogenic conditions are good here.In the district, the gold mineralization mainly occurs in the Xiaomuping Formation,LengJiaxi Group of the Middle Proterozoic, controlled by northeast regional faults and northwest secondary faults.According to 1:10 000 soil geochemistry survey, the elemental dispersion degree and superposition coefficient of Au are both relatively high, indicating certain prospecting potentials;3 A-controlling factors and analysis of prospecting direction,it takes that there are great prospecting potentials in the district at the middle-deep part of known ore(mineralized) veins and the concentration center of comprehensive anomaly, pointing the direction of further prospecting.
