Research on paste backfill technique using mining and smelting solid wastes and its application

Abstract:

The rationality of filling process parameters is the core of ensuring the filling quality in stopes.The filling quality is the key to the safe extraction in filling mining process.Common industrial solid wastes such as smelting slag and tailings are used for the preparation of paste slurry.By testing the basic characteristics of filling materials,and based on the characteristics of paste slurry,the best filling process parameters were chosen:the filling body strength on artificial bottom layer is 3.0 MPa,the filling body strength on roof connection layer is 1.0 MPa;the mass ratio of smelting slag and tailings are 37-55;filling slurry concentration is 74 %-78 %;filling cement-sand ratio on artificial bottom layer is 15,filling cement-sand ratio on roof connection layer is 110;filling flow is 90-110 m3/h.The filling system scheme is designed according to the production practice in the mine,and the core process scheme is decided.Proved in field production,the recommended filling process can meet the production requirement,and the filling effect is good.
