Abstract:

In order to evaluate the potential geological disasters of near-surface mining in a mining area, the potential surface disturbance and geological disasters caused by the deepening of near-surface mining were studied by using the discrete element numerical simulation method. The results show that in the process of mining, roof cutting and pillar retaining methods should be adopted to control roof caving, and with the increase of the dip angle of the ore body, the roof caving range will also increase. Therefore, the change of the dip angle of the ore body should be paid attention to and the roof management should be strengthened. The research provides a certain theoretical basis for the mine to subsequently choose a reasonable mining scheme.
