Experimental research on the boiling roasting-cyanidation gold extraction process for a gold-bearing primary ore

Abstract:

The gold leaching rate of direct cyanide leaching of a gold-bearing primary ore is low at only 2.68 %.According to the ore property,study of boiling roasting process is carried out.The results show that under the conditions that the boiling roasting temperature is 600 ℃,streams stay for 1.0-1.5 h and gas-solid ratio is 1.10 m3/kg(working situation) in air atmosphere,the fume productivity is 7.10 %,roasting slag productivity is 90.80 %,total productivity is 97.90 %,the oxidization rates for iron,sulfur and carbon are 95.14 %,96.08 % and 74.88 % respectively;the cyanide leaching rate of gold from mixed slags(fume and roasting slags mixed) is 83.12 %.The parameters of the boiling roasting process obtained in the test can provide guidance for industrial application.
