Abstract:

Experimental research is carried out on the synergistic treatment technology for low-concentration cyanide and arsenic in certain gold heap leaching water, investigates the optimal conditions for Fenton and ozone oxidation method to treat cyanide and arsenic, and compares the process costs. The results show that the optimal process parameters for Fenton method is initial pH 4,30 % H2O2 dosage 2 mL/L,iron vitriol dosage 0.75 g/L,reaction time 1 h;the optimal process parameters for ozone oxidation is O3 dosage 0.50 g/L,blue vitriol dosage 0.10 g/L,reaction time 1 h;the two processes can lower the total cyanide concentration to less than 0.5 mg/L and arsenic concentration to less than 0.05 mg/L,with similar costs.Enterprises can choose proper process according to their locations and environmental requirements.
