Henan Zhongyuan Gold Smelter used PLC control system and DCS to control anode furnace converter and redox operation respectively,but there were problems,for example operators can not master the operation status of anode furnace in real time,there were no AC/DC motor switching indication and no real-time display of furnace rotation angle position,no equipment operation status data history record,poor equipment linkage and so on.The renovation of the electric control system of anode furnace based on DCS-controlled AC＋DC control realized the automatic control,status display,malfunction diagnosis and whole life cycle recording of equipment running status data of anode furnace converter,arriving at a set of system to control the production of anode furnace,improving the production efficiency of anode furnace and achieving the purpose of safe production.
