Abstract:

The main valuable elements in a low-grade copper-molybdenum ore are copper and molybdenum. The copper and molybdenum minerals are finely embedded, associated in a complex way with gangue minerals, while moly-bdenite and chalcopyrite are mainly embedded in the fissures of gangue minerals, which is beneficial to the monomer disintegration of minerals.Based on the process mineralogy study, the separation process for molybdenum and copper is explored.Under optimal test conditions, the bulk flotation process of copper and molybdenum can obtain the mixed concentrate with molybdenum grade 0.470 0 %,copper grade 3.100 %,molybdenum recovery rate as high as 76.22 %,copper recovery rate as high as 89.29 %;the copper and molybdenum separation of the mixed concentrate can obtain the molybdenum concentrate with molybdenum grade 49.390 0 % and molybdenum operation recovery rate 66.18 %,and the copper concentrate with copper operation recovery rate 99.98 %.
