Abstract:

Inferred resources refer to the resources estimated and delineated by coarse projects or the extended part of high-level resources, whose geological reliability is poor.In current geological prospecting achievements of China, inferred resources account for around 50 %.In the design and development of mines, reasonable utilization of these resources is the basis to determine reasonable minable scope, minable resources and deposit development evaluation. In the case study of Madidabeishan Gold Copper Deposit, the availability can be analyzed in terms of the workability of the resources, economic reasonability of development and management degree of the project. And based on the geological prospecting achievements of the deposit, the geological reliability is analyzed, the resources utilization coefficient is determined, and the available inferred resources are finally determined. The goal of comprehensive analysis of the availability of inferred resources from multiple aspects is to provide solid geological basis for deposit development eva-luation,so that the feasibility of future projects is reflected in a realistic way.
