Abstract:

Under high confining pressure, the particle fragmentation deep in the dump is the most important characteristic that tells super high dump from low-grade dump.Calculation model is established based on a domestic super high dump.In the 2 patterns, with and without the particle fragmentation deep in the dump taken into consideration, the slope stability is analyzed in 3 working conditions that are nature, rainfall and earthquake, using limit equilibrium method. The results show that during the stockpiling process of the dump, the particle fragmentation effect causes the change of dump materials, thus lowering the safety coefficient of the dump slope stability.
