Abstract:

White ash contains lead, antimony, bismuth and arsenic, and antimony and bismuth will seriously interfere with the determination of lead content. The experiment optimizes EDTA titration method to determine lead content in white ash containing antimony and bismuth. With hydrobromic acid addition and pre-titration of Na2EDTA solution, the interference of  antimony and bismuth is eliminated. And it is decided that the ammonium fluoride addition is 0.5 g,water addition is 80 mL,ethyl alcohol addition is 10 mL,and the settling time is 60 min.The method is simple, the relative standard deviation of the determination results is 0.08 %-0.21 %,and the accuracy and precision are both good.
