Ganzi-Litang metallogenic belt is located between Yidun eugeosyncline and Yajiang miogeosyncline in Sanjiang fold system.As one of the important precious metals metallogenic belt on Chuanxi plateau,it hosts dozens of gold deposits(spots) that are discovered in succession.Gold deposits such as Cuoa and Gala on the north,Ajialongwa in the middle,are all similar to Suoluogou on the south in geotectonic location,ore-hosting strata,ore-hosting lithology,wall rock alteration,magmatic rock,mineral compositions,geochemical characteristics,prospecting marks and prospecting method.Based on preliminary exploration of the geological characteristics,geochemical characteristics,geophysical characteristics and prospecting methods of Suoluogou type gold deposits,a geology-geochemistry-geophysics pro-specting model is established to guide prospecting work.Regional structure,ore-hosting strata,structural alteration belt are important geological prospecting marks to find Suoluogou type gold deposits;the geochemical prospecting mainly takes the form of stream sediment survey and soil geochemical survey,1∶200 000 stream sediment survey is the basis to determine prospecting target area,1∶25 000 and 1∶50 000 stream sediment survey is the basic method to narrow down prospecting target area,1∶10 000 and 1∶2 000 soil geochemical survey is used to determine the construction site;geophysics prospecting uses X-ray fluorescence spectrometry and comprehensive gravity,magnetic and electro methods.The metallogenic belt possesses the basics to be a super large-scale gold deposit,however,restricted by many factors,the potentials are not fully released.With increasing investment,the belt is expected to be a renowned metallogenic belt in the whole country.
