Abstract:

24# vein of Xibaishu Mining District of Baotou Xinda company is a steeply inclined thin ore body, broken in the upper wall.In view of the problems of poor safety performance, low production capacity, high mining loss and dilution when the ore body is mined by short-hole shrinkage mining method, experimental study on mining with medium long hole staged mining is carried out and the pre-reinforcement of the upper wall of the ore body is adopted, solving the safety problems caused by broken upper wall. The mining processes such as mining preparation cutting engineering layout, rock drilling and blasting, ore extraction and so on are described in detail, and field industrial experimental studies are carried out.The test results show that medium long hole staged mining and pre-reinforcement of the upper wall has focused procedures, effectively shortening the working time of personnel in the stope. The amount of labor is small. The technical and economic indicators of single-shift mining capacity 240 t/d,mining loss rate 9 % and ore dilution rate 7 % are obtained. The outcome is good. The method can provide reference for similar mines.
