The crushing system in Inner Mongolia Pacific Mining Co.,Ltd.is typical three-stage  one-closed-circuit system,where fine feed,screened feed and product ore storage bin all require feeding cart to spread and feed,making feeding cart vital in the process.In light that the labor is intense and field conditions are poor to operate feeding cart,the feeding cart is modified and improved on its software and hardware.The installation of laser infrared distance meter and advanced level-sensing device to the feeding cart to obtain parameters,such as operation distance and feed level height,the programming of PLC-based automated control procedure and the real-time presentation of interface,has realized automated operation of feeding cart,saving labor cost by about 0.8 million yuan/a.
