Luyuangou Gold Deposit is located in Luoning County,Henan Province,and affiliated to the Xiong’ershan gold,silver and polymetallic high ore concentration area.The ore veins in the mining area are mainly controlled by the near-south dipping interlayered fractures.Among them,locally in 3# ore vein develop ore-rich knots,which occur in the intersection of the NE-trending joints and the interlayer fractures.Based on field investigation,systematic analysis and summary are carried out,proposing new ideas such as distribution of the ore-rich knots on the upper part of the tuff layer,SE concealing,150-200 m intermittent pinching-out and reappearance.Based on the above understanding,the genesis of the ore-rich knot is predicted and preliminarily verified by engineering.
