Abstract: The paper searched and analyzed statistically the patents related to the 4 biggest gold groups in China， compared the patent application status， patent technology portfolio， applicant distribution and technology domain， and patent technology value of the 4 biggest gold groups， revealed the individual technological development advantages and layout trend， and provided reference and guidance for reasonable layout and innovative adjustment of patented technology between the 4 biggest gold groups and other gold enterprises.
