Abstract:
A high-resolution continuous light source atomic absorption spectrometry to directly determine gold in ores is established in the study. The influence factors such as media and co-existing elements are optimized. The results show that the sample passed through a 180-mesh sieve, hydrochloric acid + nitric acid + perchloric acid was used to remove sulfur, and the sample was dissolved in aqua regia at 2 %-5 % of aqua regia medium, and at the wavelength of 242.80 nm, the gold content in the ore is directly determined by high-resolution continuous light source atomic absorption spectrometry in modeling background exclusion mode. The co-existing elements Cu, Ni, Fe, Ca, Mg and Si impose no impact on the determination. The relative standard deviation is not more than 5.0 %, the recovery of reference material is 96.7 %-104.0 % and the result is consistent with the standard value and the result of fire assay-spectrophotometry. The accuracy and precision both meet the requirement.
