Abstract: The commonly used protection measures for cart sliding is to install constantly closed cart barriers (nets) in sections in tunnels， which has some safety problems such as high-speed sliding when the cart starts to slide far away from the cart barriers (nets)， too many control links， and uncertain factors caused by frequent lifting of the cart barriers (nets). An automatic-braking sliding-prevention safety cart for ascending carts in inclined shafts is developed. By using a centrifugal tripping wheel， a braking system， and a braking device arranged on the frame， it can realize the safe parking of sliding carts immediately. The product price is estimated to be 40000-100000 yuan. The use is flexible and convenient， and the investment and operating expenses are small.
