Abstract:
A carbon-bearing sulfur-oxygen mixed copper ore in DRC has a copper grade of 1.27 % and an oxidation rate of 25.98 %. During the beneficiation process, there are problems such as high reagent consumption, easy sliming, and low beneficiation indexes. In order to achieve efficient utilization of this mixed copper ore resources, flotation test research was carried out. The results show that under the conditions of sodium hydrosulfide dosage of 460 g/t, butyl xanthate dosage of 190 g/t, Z200 dosage of 120 g/t, and No. 2 oil dosage of 180 g/t, using a mixed flotation process of two roughing, two scavenging, and three cleaning, a copper concentrate with a copper grade of 17.10 % and a copper recovery of 80.76 % can be obtained.
