Abstract:
The newly discovered Guojialing granite occurs in the Houtuan Gold District in the central part of the Dayingezhuang Gold Field and in the Xindongzhuang Gold District in the southern part. Its lithology is porphyritic granite, and it has clear boundaries against the surrounding Linglong granite. Its mineral composition, structure, and tectonics are similar to those of typical Guojialing granite found in the Shangzhuang and Hedong gold districts along the Jiaojia Fault. Based on petrological and petrogeochemical characteristics, it is determined that Guojialing granite in the Dayingezhuang Gold Field belongs to the granite-granodiorite series and exhibits adakitic rock features. Given that the mineralization age of the Dayingezhuang Gold Field is close to the diagenetic age of Guojialing granite, and that sericitization occurs in Guojialing granite in the Houtuan Gold District, it is inferred that Guojialing granite serves as the main ore-forming heat source for the Dayingezhuang Gold Field.
